Community Services
We support seniors aged 60 and above to age actively, stay connected, and find purpose in community. We reach out to isolated seniors, create opportunities for friendship and active engagement, and encourage seniors to give back by serving others in their own ways.

Our Approach
Growing older is a journey of transition. No senior should have to navigate these years alone.
Our Active Ageing Centres and Intergen Hubs are vibrant spaces where seniors build genuine friendships, explore new interests, and connect with dedicated staff and volunteers who walk alongside them. Through daily interactions and consistent outreach, we create a safe environment where everyone belongs.
Every senior is given the opportunity to discover new strengths, share their rich life experiences, and lead community initiatives. By stepping up as mentors and guiding their peers, seniors take true ownership of their growth. When they believe in their ongoing potential, they unlock the wisdom and purpose within themselves to shape a supportive community for the generations that follow.
Our services are open to all seniors aged 60 years and above, regardless of race or religion.

A NEW JOY IN LIFE
– Mdm Siew Eng’s Story
For a long time, Madam Siew Eng spent her days mostly at home, feeling isolated & disconnected, especially during the COVID-19 period, when months passed with everyone cooped up indoors.
Concerned for her well-being, her daughter encouraged her to take regular walks in the park so she would not feel so confined. During those walks, she began meeting new friends. One day, they shared that they attended weekly dance sessions at a centre & invited her to join them. She had always been interested in dance & decided to join them—a decision that would change her life.
At New Life, she discovered a wide range of activities for seniors, from dancing & singing to programmes that support physical well-being & active ageing. More importantly, she found a warm & welcoming community.
The staff cared for her with sincerity & kindness & NewLife quickly became a second home to her. Over time, she became more cheerful & confident. She found the courage to sing after years of being too shy & she opened her heart to learning new things that felt meaningful & relevant to her.
It has been 3 years, which seemed to have passed in the blink of an eye & she is deeply grateful for how much her life has blossomed. She says that coming to New Life truly gave her a “new life” & her hope is that more seniors will have the opportunity to experience the same love, joy & sense of belonging that she has found here.
