I like the teachers and I’ve made many friends at the centre. During the school holidays, we get to play games and engage in other a=ctivities such as art and craft. There are special lessons conducted by the teachers that I enjoy too.
Besides these, I also participated in P.A.N.D.A Champs during the December school holidays. In this programme, I was introduced to different character values like showing acts of love and accepting differences. One of the lessons that I learnt from accepting differences is empathy, which is to step into the shoes of others. Through the different station games where we had to colour a picture while blindfolded, button shirts without using our hands and communicate without speech, I got to experience the difficulties that persons with disabilities faced. It makes me sad for those who are blind as they might trip or get hit by a car while crossing the road.
